I don’t think it is something that you move past, a loss.

I think it is something you learn to live with, like having blonde hair or a stutter. You learn to adapt the best that you possibly can.

But you never move past it. You do not forget.

I am so fortunate that I am now in a place (physically and mentally) that I can say this to others, even those new to this journey- it hurts so much that you want to die right now, but I promis you that one day- it might be tomorrow, or ten years from now- you will be ok.

You will learn to adapt to this world of life after loss.

But you never forget who and what you have lost. A baby, and a future.
